Another test blog (so there are two tests)

I've been obsessed with horses since I knew what they were. I was  always  that weird horse kid. The margin of every notebook was filled with horse doodles and I had a stable full of Grand Champions (and later, when I got more  sophisticated , Breyers). Rox Dene was my favorite mostly because she looked like  my imaginary horse , Diamond Every year for Christmas I asked for a pony, but since ponies are a little hard to fit under the tree I usually got  every other horse related thing  you could imagine. My favorites were definitely the horse computer games. The 90's were resplendent with tons of horse games and I had pretty much all of them. One of the first ones I got was  Mary King's Riding Star . I loved this game but good lord, was I bad at it. For some reason, I could not figure out how to time the jumping right. My character was constantly falling off. Test Blog Post Title

Last week I talked about  how far Spicy has come . But despite our successes, there are still things that left me very frustrated. While my 2020 doesn't include specific competition goals, there are a few things I'd like to tackle with him this year. I don't have new pictures right now, so have some of my favorites from 2019! Take more lessons . My lessons on him have been sporadic at best. I think it's time to get back into the habit of regular lessons. I think it'll be helpful to have another set of eyes on him, particularly a non-emotionally-involved set. It'll also serve to motivate me. While I'd love to have something weekly, given my schedule and my current facility setup I think I'll try and aim for every other week. The lessons also don't have to specifically be  on Spicy . I've talked to my dressage trainer about borrowing a horse to lesson on, which I think will do a lot for my confidence and also make me a better rider for Spic...
